Fabrication and build-out of a medicinal marijuana storefront using butternut wood throughout which provided a warm and inviting look and feel. The project included cabinet work with glass showcases, shelf and storage system, desks, benchwork and wall coverings.

Grain fabricated Noodle Lab’s food stall in the market, larger point of sale counter, and food prep area, high pressure laminate, cabinets functional black laminate from service side. Palm and aluminum facade from the customer side.

Materials: Walnut, flexible plywood

Location: Inman Square, Cambridge, MA

This project was to build a custom Whiskey Bar into a larger bar space. A radius die wall was constructed for the bar top and back bar shelving. The radius bar top was fabricated with walnut veneer plywood, complemented with solid walnut nosing and a gloss finish applied and buffed out. Bench seating was upholstered in leather.

Location: East Boston, MA

Our neighbor in the shipyard required their tasting area to be built out. Grain fabricated the 2” thick bar countertop with Walnut.

Grain created some fall store displays as well for the cider brewery. Used pine to create a wagon like fixture that could hold many variations of four to nine cases.
